Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long do I have to be in therapy before I feel better? A: Every case is different, but here is our promise to you: If you schedule an appointment and sit down with us, we’ll talk about where you are today in your mental health journey and where you want to be. Then we can give you a better idea of how long we might want to work together. We are not a long-term facility. Instead, we focus on solution-focused therapy modalities designed to restore mental health in the short term.

Q: What if my insurance doesn’t cover you? A: We can help you, whether you have insurance or not. We work to be the affordable care our neighbors need to face their own mental health challenges effectively.

Q: What if I suffer from multiple things? A: Many of our clients need help dealing with multiple aspects of their mental health. We are prepared for that. We can help you make sense of what you are feeling. Even more importantly, we can help you create a plan that will help you start enjoying life again.

Q: What if we meet and I don’t think we’re a good fit? A: You deserve to work with someone you like and trust to help you restore your mental health. We hope to serve you, but if you don’t feel we’re a good fit, we’ll refer you to someone we know and trust who you may like. You are under no obligation until you decide to work with us to get better. Then, your obligation is to yourself. We’ll be happy to help you.
